Litigation Lawyer Wanted

We seek an extra-ordinary Lawyer who has an appetite to help develop and grow our litigation practice in a manner which promotes autonomy within a team environment. You should positively engage the challenges our firm presents in the area of commercial litigation and look forward to and enjoy the challenge of diverse roles and be part of a team. We require someone with 2 or more years pae and with Advocacy experience.  Must have experience in drafting court documents and pleadings.  Experience in the Magistrates Court, District and Supreme Courts is essential.

 

Obviously you will already possess good computer skills, time management and communication skills to be part of our team.

 

A Salary package is commensurate with your experience is negotiable.

Directors use of EPA's

A company director cannot use an Enduring Power of Attorney or a standard Power of Attorney for the purposes of appointing someone to execute documents on behalf of the company because the role of a director is one of the few things you can't delegate: see Mancini v Mancini [1999] NSWSC 799 (6 August 1999). The office of a director is a personal responsibility, and can only be discharged by the person who holds the office.
