David Mcdonald MANAGING DIRECTOR
David has been a practising lawyer since 1990 firstly in the City with a national firm and then in West Perth with a mid-sized firm and from 2003 as the Managing Director of McDonald Pynt Lawyers. David's main areas of practice are commercial property and documenting business to business transactions. He has experience in drafting land purchase documentation, lease, agreements to lease, negotiating and drafting leases for major tenants and acted for developers and the landlords of various Bulky Goods centres and retail shopping centres. David is currently a board member of the Fremantle Chamber of Commerce and the Fremantle Foundation Ltd.

Barry Stark DIRECTOR
Admitted to practice in South Africa in 1981 and WA in 1988, Barry has extensive local and international experience gained from providing solutions to a broad range of clients, from small businesses to listed companies. He has been a principal of his own practice, and has also been a member of small and medium sized legal practices. Barry was Managing Director of Lawrence Legal Solutions from the start of 2006, before that practice amalgamated with McDonald Pynt in July 2008. His main areas of practice are general commercial law, business structures, sales and purchases, due diligence work, property law and leasing, and franchising.

DIDI ROSEVEAR SOLICITOR
Didi joined McDonald Pynt Lawyers in November 2010. She attained a Bachelor of Laws at the University of Western Australia in 2006 and was admitted as a barrister and solicitor of the Supreme Court of Western Australia in March 2008. She enjoys all aspects of commercial and property law and has good experience in property settlements and disputes, contracts, leasing, trusts, sale of business and licensing. With four sons, Didi is a keen supporter and committee member of the Queens Park Junior Football Club, and she loves to sit down and relax at least once a year.

Benjamin GarveyBENJAMIN GARVEY SOLICITOR
 Benjamin holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts (History) from Notre Dame University, Fremantle. He was admitted as a barrister and solicitor of the Supreme Court of Western Australia in June 2007 and has experience in the areas of commercial and property law, in particular leasing, contract negotiation and contractual disputes, sale of business and wills and probate. Benjamin is a keen (and long suffering) fan of the Western Force rugby union team.

Bobbie Wescott SETTLEMENT AGENT
Bobbie joined McDonald Pynt Lawyers in May 2003 who has extensive property settlement experience and has worked in the legal profession since 1997. Bobbie is a Licensed Settlement Agent and is also the Manager of Complete Property Settlements which began in May 2005 (the settlements division of McDonald Pynt Lawyers). Bobbie manages all property settlements both sale and purchase for commercial, vacant, strata and residential contracts.

Personal Property Securities Reform

Currently, Australia has different laws and registers in each State and Territory. The Personal Property Securities ("PPS") reforms bring together the different Commonwealth, State, and Territory laws and registers under one national system. It introduces the Personal Property Securities Act 2009 ("PPSA") and an online PPS Register. The new PPS regime was scheduled to begin on 31 October 2011. The Attorney General's department recently advised the expected start date for the PPS Service will now commence operations in early 2012.
